The fifth symposium on California's oak woodlands was held at the Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego, California.

The Bahia Resort Hotel is located on its own private peninsula in San Diego’s Mission Bay Park. It offers fine facilities and a courteous and professional staff. Some features of the hotel include:
